CLASSROOM PROGRAMS AT THE AQUARIUM!
Upgrade your field trip and hook your students with our fun education programs at the Aquarium. We are excited to offer your students the following classroom program topics to help support the TEKS in your classroom. These programs are 30-45 minutes long. Book your school trip today!
PRE-K TO 12
CORAL COMMUNITIES
Coral reefs are one of the most diverse habitats on the planet! In this program, students learn all about coral and the amazing sea creatures that rely on it for survival.

ROCKIN' THE RAINFOREST
We have more than just fish here at the Aquarium! We have an entire exhibit dedicated to rainforests. Students learn all about the layers of a rainforest, meet some of the animals that live there, and discover their unique adaptations.

OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Travel restrictions? No busses, not enough chaperones? No problem, we'll come to you! Aquarium will provide wildlife and conservation awareness to students in your classroom. We provide the materials, live animals and the animal experts, you provide the students.
All of our programs are available for outreach, including programs with live animals and our popular hands-on-dissection - Squidy Anatomy. Each 30 minute program is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and can be tailored for all age groups and learning needs.

Note: Some classroom programs involve live animals so anything – including lots of fun – can happen! Book your Outreach Program today! Programs with animals are strictly limited to two programs total and may be subject to time restrictions. Please ask for availability of non-animal programs for three or more programs. Ambassador animals are for looking, not touching.
Outreaches are facilitated at schools, churches, daycares, libraries, and community centers only. We do not provide outreaches for private residences.
DURATION: Offered Monday - Friday from 9:00AM – 4:00PM (based on staff availability). Weekends and evenings may be available based on staff availability. Please contact us to inquire about weekend or evening programs.
Eligible Locations: Locations within 45 miles of the Aquarium.
